Founded in 1959, Mary M. Gooley Hemophilia Center is a specialty health care facility, serving people who suffer from bleeding and blood-related disorders. Located in Rochester, N.Y., the center provides a full spectrum of treatment, advocacy and research services to individuals and families affected by various inherited diseases, including disorders related to hemostasis (blood clotting) and iron overload. The specialty health care facility is one of the first National Hemophilia Foundation (NHF) chapters chartered outside of New York City.
