Mary's Center for Maternal and Child Care, established in 1988, provides prenatal and pediatric care, and child development programs that include education, advocacy, psychosocial support and translation services for children. It also provides home medical aides, case management for teen pregnancy prevention and planning, employment referrals and placement programs for the prevention of child abuse, telemedicine and assisted living services for senior citizens. The additional services offered by the center include classes in maternal nutrition, family planning, HIV testing and prevention, and programs to reduce and prevent the spread of tuberculosis. Mary's Center for Maternal and Child Care is located in Washington, D.C., and is affiliated with National Council of La Raza.
