Established in 1965, Matheson Park Elementary School serves more than 300 students in kindergarten through grade five. The school provides special education programs for students with learning and physical disabilities. It organizes a range of activities and events, such as school nights, carnivals, book fairs, parent-teacher conferences, award assemblies and workshops. Matheson Park Elementary School operates a parent-teacher association that works to promote the welfare of children at home, school and in the community. The school conducts academic classes in math, science, social studies, spelling and vocabulary, reading and grammar.
