Founded in 1903, McLean Contracting Company performs a range of both land based and marine construction for the heavy construction industry. The company has a variety of major equipment it owns and uses including an assortment of pile hammers, buckets, air compressors, welding machines, trucks, forklifts, pumps, backhoes, hydraulic hammers, loaders, shears, man lifts, jack boats and generators. McLean has built and rehabilitated numerous bridges, piers, bulkheads and pipelines as well as performing heavy lifts and marine salvage work for both public and private customers. In the 1970's McLean purchased two properties in Curtis Bay, Md. and Chesapeake, Va., which still serve as constructions yards to support its field operations in its various endeavors. In 1988, McLean moved from downtown Baltimore to in new headquarters in Glen Burnie, Md.
