McAuliffe Health Center offers dental care for adults, children and senior citizens. The center also welcomes patients with Medicaid coverage in the state of New York. It serves individuals in the community as well as those enrolled in Loretto, which is a network of agencies and one of the largest providers of elder care services in upstate New York. Loretto's services include independent living, rehabilitation and skilled nursing care. In addition, it offers adult medical day programs. Founded in 1926, Loretto offers more than 20 different programs at over 15 sites in the city and suburbs of Syracuse, as well as Oswego and Utica in the state of New York. Its 2,300 full- and part-time employees serve nearly 4,000 adults each year.
