For more than 25 years, McGrath s Fish House has served freshly caught seafood from the Pacific Ocean and the rivers of the Northwest. In 1980, the first McGrath s family-owned restaurant opened in Salem, Ore., near the Pacific Coast. The clam chowder soon became famous, along with many other recipes prepared by the family s grandmother, and McGrath s began expanding to major markets throughout the Northwest. It now has more than 20 locations throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Utah, Arizona and California. McGrath s is able to send daily shipments of fresh seafood to all of these states through a relationship with a local supplier. In addition to seafood, each location also has an oyster bar, burgers, sandwiches, steak, chicken and pasta.
