Medical Rescue Team South Authority provides health care and transportation to providers of medical services to patients and serves the communities of Baldwin Township, Mount Lebanon, Green Tree and Castle Shannon in Pennsylvania. It provides paramedics for midget to varsity football, lacrosse, soccer, swimming, wrestling, boxing and ice-skating events. Ambulance or single person coverage is available depending on Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League rules and community requests. The authority also provides community educators and speakers for schools, scout groups, civic groups and churches. It additionally offers a car safety program and an honor guard that consists of seven members and participates in public safety funerals, parades and service recognition.
