Medicos para la Familia is a bilingual community health center that offers a combination of public health and family medicine services. Established in 1999, it is a private practice group that specializes in emergency medicine, cancer prevention, and women s and child health care. The center also provides community, educational and scholarship services. Medicos para la Familia has a teaching partnership with Meharry/Vanderbilt. In addition, it offers several diagnostic options, such as digital X-ray, colposcopy, electrocardiograph, ultrasound, pulse oximtery and endoscopy. The center maintains locations in Memphis and Nashville, Tenn.
