Meme's BBQ Smoke House is a locally-owned restaurant that serves Texas-style smoked BBQ. Enjoy a nice selection of BBQ pork, chicken, and beef along with tasty sides to complement your meal. The service was fantastic and the BBQ sauce was delicious I loved that it had a little kick to it. I had the brisket and it was awesome, especially with their BBQ sauce, which is one of the best I've tried. I even tried some of my brother's ribs when he got up to use the bathroom and they were delicious too. Delicious ribs, awesome brisket, and amazing BBQ sauce. I'm from the south, NC specifically, and this place is amazing. I had the pulled pork and it was great. They don't drench it in BBQ sauce and call it BBQ like most places on the West Coast. It's hands down the best BBQ I've had since I left the south. We stopped by and I got the pulled pork sandwich with a side of potato salad and also the brisket sandwich with macaroni salad and it was tasty. Got the BBQ ribs plate and it was very tasty, but the winner for me was the Texan Beans, which reminded me of my favorite Heinz Baked Beans on white bread (comfort food for us Brits) when I ate it. Lovely food. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with the coleslaw it was awesome. The serving was very generous (2 may be able to share) and the coleslaw was excellent as well. It even had chunks of pineapple yum.
