Memphis Recovery Centers, established in 1970, is a nonprofit agency that provides alcohol and drug treatment services to patients throughout the mid-South. The treatment process offered by the center includes stabilization of physical needs, individual and group therapies, alcohol and drug education, introduction to community based support systems, crises intervention and family therapy. It also provides treatment and development programs to patients of ages 13-to-17 that include individual counseling, physical and physiological assessments, and drug abuse management. It is licensed by the Tennessee Department of Health for residential and outpatient treatment. Memphis Recovery Centers is headquartered in Memphis, Tenn.
