Located on more than 33-acre campus in Memphis, Tenn., Veterans Affairs Medical Center is a 250-plus-bed tertiary care facility. The medical center offers a wide range of acute medical, intermediate and surgical care services. It also provides a variety of primary, specialty and subspecialty care services, including psychiatry, neurology, spinal cord injury treatment, rehabilitation, oncology, dentistry and special services for women s care. The medical center offers various other services, such as ambulatory surgery, dialysis, cardiology, CT scans, magnetic resonance imaging, pain management, substance abuse treatment, dermatology and digital angiography. It has also established various community-based outpatient clinics in Smithville and Byhalia, Miss., Jonesboro, Ark., and Savannah, Tenn. The medical center is a part of Department of Veteran Affairs and is affiliated with the University of Tennessee, Memphis.
