MHR specializes in crisis management and assisting individuals in finding current solutions to immediate concerns. Whether the problem is depression, anxiety, alcohol or drugs, we recognize that your problems may be urgent to you and require rapid assessment and resolution. We provide urgent appointments as needed within 24 hours M-F. We are the only private practice provider in our area that offers an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for both psychiatric and substance abuse disorders that have been studied and validated in six peer reviewed publications. MHRâ&euro&trades IOPs were developed expressly to provide an intensive therapeutic environment in an outpatient setting. Our IOPs consist of less than three-hour per day structured program held in our private offices. The average IOP patient attends less than 3 hours of treatment three mornings per week for about 6 - 7 weeks. Our published research demonstrates that our IOP patients reported very significant symptom improvements on many symptom scales, including depression, anxiety, abstinence as well functional improvements, such as return to work, increased participation in relationships and daily activities. Our Consumer Satisfaction surveys reveal that patients are Highly Satisfied. On a scale of 1-4, our average ratings for Helpfulness, Overall Quality and Satisfaction were 3.7.
