Mental Health Systems, also known as MHS, offers drug and alcohol rehabilitation services in northern San Diego County in California. Founded in 1978, it serves individuals with mental health problems. The system administers vocational placement, homeless outreach and case management programs. Mental Health Systems operates a family services division that serves individuals throughout California. The system also offers community support services. It operates a corrections and rehabilitation division that provides treatment for various physical health problems. Mental Health Systems additionally administers an addiction counseling program in San Bernardino, Fresno and Rancho Cucamonga in California through William R. Mead Training Academy.
