Mercado La Paloma is a community development project of Esperanza Community Housing Corporation. The project involves the redevelopment of a vacant, deteriorated 34,000-square-foot, two-story warehouse, adjacent plaza and parking area into a premier neighborhood gathering place. It features four restaurants that serve Thai, Mexican and Yucatecan food. Mercado La Paloma also provides a range of food and craft products. The project offers rental space for meetings, workshops, receptions and parties. Each of its rooms is equipped with a table, chair, kitchen and computer. The project also provides handcraft items, flowers, children's books, jewelry and clothing. Located in Los Angeles, Mercado La Paloma operates restaurants and bakery shops.
