The MetroHealth Cancer Care Center, a part of the MetroHealth System, has been providing oncology services in western Cleveland since 1973. It specializes in the areas of medical, surgical, gynecologic and radiation oncology. The MetroHealth Cancer Care Center offers diagnostic and nursing and rehabilitation care services to patients. The center s medical oncology and hematology department serves patients with various types of cancer, including leukemia, lymphoma and solid tumor. It also provides surgical services to patients with brain tumor and head, neck, lung, genitourinary and gastrointestinal cancers. The MetroHealth Cancer Care Center houses a colposcopy and cryosurgery clinic for the early diagnosis and treatment of precancerous lesions of the cervix, vulva and vagina.
