Michael's Complete Lawn Care Inc was started by Michael Ackerman approximately ten years ago with a small boy just wanting some extra spending money. After a couple of years mowing neighbor's lawns he realized that he might be able to expand his little mowing business by making some flyers on the home computer. After riding his bike, stopping on each block in his neighborhood, passing out the flyers, and talking with the homeowners, he came home with a list of new customers. He was so excited. He went to his mom and dad and told them the good news. They too were excited. Michael kept going door to door and talking with potential customers, and his little business kept growing and growing. Michael finally asked his dad if he could drive him to the job sites and help him complete the lawns. So from then on Michael and his dad, Mike, worked together on the weekends and complete the lawns, while Michael's mother, Connie, did all the billing and book work. As the company continued to grow, eventually Mike and Connie decided to leave their jobs and work with their son, Michael, with the lawn care business. A few years later, Michael got married to his love, Natalie. Once she was part of the Ackerman family, that obviously meant she became a part of the Michael's Complete Lawn Care family too. Today, Mike, Connie, Michael, and Natalie make a very good team. They have grown the company into the company that it is today, offering all types of lawn and landscaping services to fit the needs of any property. They pride themselves on extreme attention to detail, and their custom service, that they offer to not only their customers but to their potential customers. They now service large commercial properties, some of the most prestigious homeowner's associations, and many shapes and sizes of residential properties in Wichita and surrounding areas. Michael Ackerman Jr. is the President of the corporation; he takes care of the day-to-day operations, sales, account management, routing and production. Mike Ackerman Sr. is the Vice-President of corporation; he takes care of purchasing, vehicle, and equipment maintenance, as well as production. Connie Ackerman is the office Manager and company controller. She takes care of all billing, scheduling, accounting, and payroll. Natalie Ackerman helps with the day-to-day operations of the company, as well scheduling and customer service.
