Mill Springs Academy is a nonprofit educational community that provides academic, physical and social education to students. It is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools, the Atlanta Area Association of Independent Schools and the American Evaluation Association. Its academic curriculum includes reading, handwriting, spelling, story development, comprehension, basic skills, foreign languages, math, fine arts and social studies. The academy has a library that houses a collection of books, educational magazines, videos, workbooks, databases and audio books. The academy offers a range of sports activities, such as basketball, baseball, tennis, volleyball, soccer, golf, cross country, track and wrestling. Mill Springs Academy is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and is located in Alpharetta, Ga.
