In 1950 four brothers of Greek-born parents pooled their resources and purchased the then flailing Miller s Pub from the Miller family, who established the restaurant in 1935. After this purchase, the brothers did not have the $500 to change the sign on the pub, so the Miller name remained. The pub became a famous late-night spot where on almost any night of the week one might spot local and international celebrities, such as Chicago baseball legends Bill Veeck and Harry Caray who were regular customers. Menu items include appetizers, such as calamari, onion rigs, buffalo wings and mozzarella sticks; ala carte salads; seafood, such as whitefish, salmon, catfish and jumbo shrimp; Italian items that include pasta, spaghetti and ravioli; Miller s World Famous Ribs; steak, chops, roast beef and prime rib; sandwiches; desserts; and a variety of other miscellaneous items, such as wiener schnitzel. Miller s Pub is located in Chicago.
