As our dermatology patient, you will meet with Dr. Phil Ecker, a Stanford University and Mayo Clinic trained dermatologist, before any treatments begin. You will see Dr. Ecker throughout your follow-up care as well. A referral is not necessary. We are accepting new patients. Nearly all tests and procedures are performed in-house, including blood work, biopsies, patch testing, light treatments ( phototherapy ), BLU-U and photodynamic therapy, skin surgeries ( including Mohs micrographic surgery for skin cancer ), and liquid nitrogen treatments ( cryotherapy ).Dr. Ecker and his team provide everything from mole checks, mole and wart removal, skin cancer screening exams, acne management, evaluation and treatment of rashes, hair loss ( alopecia ), dermatitis, ring worm, rosacea, skin infections, cellulitis, skin lesions, itchy skin, to evaluation of nail problems, and more. In addition, BOTOX and fillers are offered. Dr. Ecker can recommend a treatment plan to prevent or treat age spots, wrinkles, red skin, melasma, promote skin health, and slow the aging process, recommending one or more of the carefully selected products we carry. Parking is free. Nearly all insurance plans common in Minnesota or to the greater Minneapolis, St. Paul area are accepted, and if you do not have insurance, we offer a discount for medical and surgical services.Most importantly, when you come to Minnesota Dermatology, you will feel cared for as a patient.
