The Miami Valley Regional Center offers community-based educational programs and services. It offers services to the mental retardation and developmental disability boards, educational services centers, school districts, and vocational and charter schools. The center offers various services related to identification of disabilities and conditions, assessment of severe and multiple disabilities, coordination of human and financial resources, and professional development for regular and special educators. In addition, the Miami Valley Regional Center offers hearing intervention and mobility services, as well as occupational and physical therapies. The center also offers assessment and consultation related to orientation mobility and vision intervention services to the individuals with blindness and visual disabilities.
