Established in 1951, Moore Magnet Elementary School serves students in kindergarten through grade five. The school employs an art teacher, curriculum coordinator, guidance counselor, media specialist, technology facilitator and speech therapist. The elementary school is a part of Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools, which also includes Mineral Springs Elementary School, Middle Fork Elementary School and Kimberley Park Elementary School. Moore Magnet Elementary School has a media center that stocks reference books, archives, biographies, databases, encyclopedias, online dictionaries, newspapers and magazines.
