Established in 1962, Motel 6 is one of the largest owned and operated hotel chains in North America. Located in Tempe, Ariz., the lodging company has hotels across the United States. The various facilities available include free local phone calls, morning coffee, Wi-Fi Internet access and cable television, featuring channels, such as Home Box Office, Entertainment and Sports Programming Network, Cable News Network and the Discovery Channel. Motel 6 also houses other amenities, including swimming pools and guest laundry facilities. The motel is a part of the Accor family.
