The Marshall-Jackson Mental Health Board, doing business as Mountain Lakes Behavioral Healthcare, provides mental illness and substance abuse treatment services to the citizens of Marshall and Jackson counties in Alabama. Founded in 1971, the facility specializes in treatment for depression, anxiety and psychotic illness. It operates the Mental Illness Outpatient Program to offer treatment to people suffering from serious mental and emotional disorders. Mountain Lakes Behavioral Healthcare provides family counseling and support education, parenting skills training, psychiatric evaluation, case management, medication monitoring, group therapy and crisis intervention services. The facility runs crisis residential and substance abuse prevention programs.
