My father and uncle purchased MTI Business College in January of 1970 down on Miner Avenue downtown Stockton; in 1976 they bought some property close to the corner of Swain Road and North El Dorado Street next to the San Joaquin County Safety Council building formally Farmers Insurance; after a year and a half of building a new school they opened and moved from downtown Stockton to their new building in January 1978; in 1988 MTI Business College became accredited (NATTS now ACCSC) and offered Federal financial assistance for students; MTI Business College has been locally owned and operated in Stockton for 47 years and with our family for 45; customer service is number one
