Founded in 1990, Mullen Elementary School provides learning opportunities to more than 770 students in prekindergarten through grade five. It was named after late George Patrick Mullen, a long-time school board member and chairman. The school has an advisory team that develops the annual school plan and makes recommendations to the principal concerning budgetary and educational topics. Its parent-teacher association organizes various fundraising programs. The school offers accelerated reader, strings, drug-free zone and tutoring programs. The school provides a range of supplies, including pencil pouches, erasers, pencils, tissue boxes, scissors, highlighters, notebooks and folders. It additionally offers an online list of accelerated reader quizzes. Mullen Elementary School is located in Manassas, Va., and is a part of Prince William County Public Schools.
