Murray Junior High School is a part of the Saint Paul Public Schools and offers a wide range of academic and social programs and activities to students in grades seven and eight. The school provides programs in science, mathematics, art, music, special education, physical education, science and social studies. Murray Junior High School also offers world language classes in French, German and Spanish. The school provides a variety of extracurricular activities that include yearbook, National Junior Honor Society, student council, and computer and French clubs.
