With more than 10 full-service equipment branches plus eight construction and industrial rental equipment stores under the name of N C The Cat Rental Store, the company offers Caterpillar parts, service, rentals and machine sales. N C Machinery's origins go back as far as 1776 when N C Machinery was a vital part of the growth in the Pacific Northwest and Alaska. The Northern Commercial Company was one of the early trading companies in the region, helping to open the Pacific Northwest for settlers and later supporting the settlement of Alaska with a variety of goods, including machinery needed for the Gold Rush.
