Founded in 1982, the National Association for Home Care & Hospice is one of the largest trade associations in the United States. It represents the interests of more than 24,500 hospices, hospitals, and home care aide organizations and agencies, as well as over 1.5 nurses, aides, therapists, managers and information technology personnel. The association is affiliated with the Hospice Association of America, Private Duty Homecare Association of America, Center for Health Care Law, Home Healthcare Nurses Association, Home Care Technology Association of America, Home Care & Hospice Financial Managers Association and Home Care Aide Association of America. It also operates a regulatory affairs division that is responsible for keeping information related to current federal regulations and government policies.
