Founded in 1967, the Nassau Bay Volunteer Fire Department offers a range of fire protection and rescue services to the citizens of Nassau Bay in Texas. It maintains more than 30 volunteer members, as well as offers training and maintenance services. the department is a member of the Harris County Fire Fighters Association, National Fire Protection Association and State Firemen's and Fire Marshals' Association of Texas. Its fire station features a variety of apparatus that includes a boats, engines and command and military vehicles. It also maintains line and administrative officers.
