Founded in 1947, National Car Rental is an automobile renting company. Based in Richmond, Va., the firm has more than 800 vehicles with over 60 locations. It provides a selection of vehicles, including midsize to full size car models, convertibles, SUVs, minivans, as well as specialty cars, trucks and vans. The company serves a number of areas, such as United States, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, Latin America, Asia and the Pacific Rim. National Car Rental has partnerships with Hilton Family of Hotels, Northwest Airlines, All Nippon Airways and Champions Tour, among others. It is a member of National Business Travelers Association (NBTA) and American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA).
