The National Committee to Preserve Social Security & Medicare, also known as NCPSSM, is a membership organization that protects, preserves, and promotes the financial security, health and the well-being of individuals. Founded in 1982, the organization offers a range of advocacy and educational programs. It also provides information on several legislative and regulatory proposals. The National Committee to Preserve Social Security & Medicare s members support petition drives, letter campaigns, surveys and polls. The organization hosts awareness campaigns and is a member of the Leadership Council of Aging Organizations (LCAO). In addition, it administers NCPSSM Foundation, which is a nonprofit agency.
