Founded in 1898, the National Community Pharmacists Association serves pharmacists throughout the United States. It is a member of the Pharmacy Compounding Accreditation Board. The National Community Pharmacists Association conducts various workshops, trade shows and conferences. It organizes certificate programs in the management of various diseases, such as diabetes, osteoporosis, hypertension and arthritis. The organization also conducts online programs to educate pharmacy owners and employees about the federal laws and guidelines related to the problems of fraud and drug and substance abuse. The National Community Pharmacists Association offers programs on topics related to assisted living and long-term care.
