Program: Business & Environment initiative.NEEF is carbon neutral through 2010 thanks to Baxter International Inc Baxter purchased carbon credits through the Chicago Climate Exchange ( CCX ). Through the Exchange, NEEF has eliminated its estimated carbon footprint through offsets through 2010.NEEF's energy usage for the four-year period was estimated and Baxter purchased an equivalent investment in renewable energy to offset the estimated carbon footprint.
