Established in 1934, National Mediation Board is an independent agency engaged in facilitating operational relations between the labor and management in two key transportation sectors: the railroads and airlines services, of the United States. Based in Washington, D.C., the board offers a range of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services, including training, facilitation, grievance mediation and facilitated problem solving. Additionally, it provides a range of technology-assisted dispute resolution programs designed to enhance dispute resolution efforts while saving time and money for the board and the parties.
