Based in Washington, D.C., the National Restaurant Association is a business association serving the restaurant industry that employs more than 12 million people. Founded in 1919, the association, along with the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation represents and promotes more than 930,000 restaurants and foodservice outlets.
