National Retail Federation

The National Retail Federation is one of the largest retail trade associations that represent more than 100 state, national and international retail associations. It works in association with various independent, drug and grocery stores and restaurants, as well as trading partners of retail goods and services. The federation s association groups include the Association for Retail Technology Standards, National Council of Chain Restaurants, and Retail Advertising and Marketing Association. The National Retail Federation also operates a foundation that is a nonprofit foundation that conducts industry research, develops education and workforce development programs. Its merchandise community focuses on the issues and practices related to building collaborative and systematic planning processes that integrate sales and promotional plans. The federation is located in Washington, D.C.
