Established in 1882, MultiCare OB/GYN Associates is a part of MultiCare, which offers a range of clinical and diagnostic services through its various facilities in the United States. MultiCare is an integrated health care organization that operates hospitals, primary care facilities, urgent care clinics, multispecialty centers, home health service agencies and a hospice. It is a nonprofit organization based in Tacoma, Wash. The health system provides a range of medical services, including treatment of cancer and heart problems and also offers specialty services in the areas of neuroscience, orthopedics and women's health care. The health system provides several surgical services that include surgeries related to gynecological problems, including the removal of fibroid tumors and uterus, correction of vaginal prolapse and treatment of gynecologic cancers.
