Neighborhood House, founded in 1905, provides social, emergency and recreational services to homeless individuals and families residing in southwest Oregon. It also offers legal assistance, recreational activities, and food and clothing for children. The services offered by the center include case management, transitional housing, rent assistance, skill-building classes and child care programs. It organizes workshops and support groups for anger management, family conflict resolution, depression and grief, and family therapeutic programs. The center also operates child development and mental health clinics that provide medical assistance and health care services. Neighborhood House is located in Portland, Ore.
