The program s licensed counselors help families improve their relationships through improved communication skills and parenting approaches. It helps to highlight and develop the personal strengths of each family member. NMFC encourages higher self-esteem and well-being among family members. The program provides one-to-one counseling services for the residents of ranches. The New Mexico Boys and Girls Ranches also offers residential group care and semi-independent living programs.
