The News-Enterprise, a Landmark Community Newspapers publication, was first presented as a daily newspaper in Hardin County, Ky., on Sept. 2, 1974. Originally, the paper was published in the afternoon five days a week. The News-Enterprise is delivered to approximately 15,500 homes Monday through Friday and nearly 20,000 on Sunday. The goal of its employees is to be a dominant information source for Hardin County. The paper employs more than 110 people and is involved in several community functions and organizations. The News-Enterprise maintains its corporate headquarters in Elizabethtown, Ky.
