For over 35 years, NEWSED CDC has been serving the Denver Latino community. It provides free foreclosure prevention counseling to households in the area. The company is a Community Development Corporation (CDC) and has affiliation with the Santa Fe Drive Redevelopment Corporation. It is an Equal Housing Opportunity member. The company owns and operates two affordable rental housing apartment complexes in West Denver that serve low-income residents. Some of NEWSED CDC's projects include Zocalo Shopping Center, Grease Monkey Center, Plaza de Santa Fe and 7th Avenue, among others.
