Northwest Soccer Camps, weekly summer soccer camps, ages 7-18 adult instruction personal training. Over 40 years of">exceptional soccer training. Our director and cofounder Cliff "Uncle Nubby" McCrath is all but doing cartwheels because of the spectacular new soccer complex which complements state-of-the-art residence halls and peerless meal offerings. Northwest Soccer Camp offers the best in Resident Camps and Day Camps which strive to provide each participant the best instruction available. Our Staff literally comes from around the globe and comprises coaches and counselors from youth, ODP, high school, college and professional levels. Our Camp Director Cliff McCrath, Hall of Famer and coach of five-time national champions, carefully selects the best coaches and staff for our camps. NSC provides the ultimate resident camp experience. At Bastyr University, our resident camps comprise programs for Future Stars ages 7-9 Field Players and Goalkeepers ages 10-18 Strikers and Goalkeepers ages 14-18, Elite players ages 12-18. Elite camps feature technical, tactical and positional play for players who have advanced beyond basic skills. Space is limited and early registration is encouraged. Our coaching staff is selected for their ability to challenge young soccer players to improve and advance their soccer skills. They also strive to provide each camper with experiences rich with fun, hard work, laughter and the value of teamwork.
Our coach-to-camper ratio for ages 7-9 is 18 and 115 for older age groups. However, our team teaching concept sometimes means a 11 ratio. The underlying philosophy is that each child is an "individual" needing the utmost in personal attention and tutoring. This provides a meaningful learning environment for your child and allows our staff to provide more personal evaluations at the end of each week.
Resident campers can expect two challenging training sessions per day in addition to league games each afternoon. Sessions focus not only on basic skills and the development of technical and tactical play, but also stress fitness, good training habits and good sporting behavior.
