O Neil Industries can trace its beginnings back to the early 1900s firm of famed architect Daniel Burnham, where a young William O Neil worked as an office boy. More than two decades later, O Neil founded O Neil Industries, which owns and operates a family of construction companies that provide construction management, general contracting, design and pre-construction services to clients in both the private and public sectors. Each construction firm serves clients in the hotel, retail, telecommunications, aerospace and other industries. The companies projects have included work for the United States Army Corps of Engineers, Harrah s Casinos, Illinois Institute of Technology and America West Airlines. O Neil Industries has headquarters in Chicago and operates additional offices in Los Angeles and Walnut Creek, Calif.; Phoenix and Tucson, Ariz.; and Golden, Colo.
