Onvoy was established in 1988 as a collaborative effort of independent local telephone companies whose mission was to provide a wide range of leading edge telecommunications services. In addition to its corporate office in Minneapolis, Onvoy has a network operations control center in Plymouth, Minn., and an operator services center in Chokio, Minn. The company also has a professional services unit serving major customers that include the State of Minnesota Departments of Health and Agriculture, Lockheed Martin and Windom Hospital.
