The Open Door Community is a residential community that features the Catholic Worker tradition to dismantle racism, sexism and heterosexism. It serves breakfast and lunch, as well as features shower and cloth changing rooms. The community has a medical clinic and conducts several worship services and meetings for monthly trips. The Open Door Community publishes a monthly newsletter, as well as advocates through a range of nonviolent protests. It works as a church, center of learning and theological study, publishing house, locus for activism and advocacy, and place of spiritual guidance and retreat. The Open Door Community is located in Atlanta.
