Orange County Code Enforcement is a division of Orange County Government, Fla. and focuses on receiving and evaluating evidence and testimony regarding alleged violations of Orange County codes and regulations. Located in Orlando, Fla., it works towards enforcing regulations to protect citizens and to promote voluntary compliances in partnership with community groups. It has assigned Code Enforcement Officers to specific geographical areas to enforce Orange County's zoning/sign/nuisance/property maintenance code. Some of the typical cases include violations of regulations regarding land development, building standards, minimum housing standards, fire safety, etc. Orange County Code Enforcement also conducts Board of County Commissioners meetings and public hearings addressed by special magistrate, among others
