Oroweat is a quality brand with long-standing heritage and tridition. Founded in 1932 in North Hollywood, the brand was created with the vision of providing consumers with premium bread - still the conerstone of Oroweat products. The bakery's trademark of using whole grains in their bread came about during the Great Depression, when ingredients were scarce and expensive. This innovation from necessity produced great-tasting bread that has taken Oroweat into the PAcific Northwest, Colorado, Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Tennessee and, most recently, Mexico.
