Oxygen Media is a women-oriented cable television network similar to Lifetime. It offers movies, talk shows (i.e. Oprah After the Show, Isaac Mizrahi), sitcom and drama reruns (i.e. Cybill, Xena: Warrior Princess), how-to programs, and other entertainment designed to appeal to woman. The Oxygen Network is a 24-hour cable television network that puts a fresh spin on television for women. It's the creation of Geraldine Laybourne, who was responsible for the success of Nickelodeon and Nick at Nite. Its original programming includes: Oprah Goes Online weekly series; and Candice Bergan s return to television with Exhale, a nightly show with conversations from provocative people. Oxygen Media has online sites that offer sports, style, young women, unique crafts by women and Web comparison to Oprah Goes Online. Oxygen Media is produced at its studios in New York.
