Pacific Dining Car

Fred and Grace Cook founded the Pacific Dining Car in 1921. The Pacific Dining Car s signature dish is U.S.D.A. Prime American Corn-Fed Beef. All steaks are aged on the premises and cut by the restaurant s butcher, then grilled over mesquite charcoal. Although the restaurant s reputation is for steaks in Los Angeles, guests can also choose from a selection of traditional and contemporary dishes. The restaurant employs nearly 100 people.
