FFounded in 1965, Pacifica High School is located in Garden Grove, Calif. It consists of several departments, such as English, art, music, social services, science, technology, computers and business. The school s guidance office offers individual counseling, regional occupation programs, progress reports and campus services. It also provides information on financial aid, scholarships, colleges, universities and careers. The school also offers more than 10 Honors classes in a variety of subjects. Its advanced-placement program allows high school students to take college level courses. Additionally, the school offers opportunities to participate in athletics, club, bands and choirs. Its parent-teacher-student association sponsors informational programs and support the school with the educational needs of students. It also helps in fundraising for community projects.
